Happy Birthday, V!!!!

V turned two yesterday.  It was a great day!  I am so glad that she is my girl.  She talks a ton.  She pretty much is never silent unless she is asleep.  She loves to sing.  She loves to dance.  She loves to sweep.  She loves to unload the dishwasher.  She loves church.  She loves her siblings.  She is definitely a Daddy's Girl and loves him so much.  She loves to color, including on things where she should not color.
This was V when she first woke up.  We all went into her room and sang to her.  She was excited.  She only sleeps with pacifiers, but she does truly love them.  Weaning her of them will be difficult.  I thought for sure at two we would, but I wasn't planning on the MS.  We might leave her her comfort objects for a while.

Here she is ready to open her first present before the siblings leave for school.
The box had a table and four chairs just for her.  She was (and still is) sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!  She loves them!

We then went and had a playdate at our neighbor's home.  She loves them so much, so it was a perfect way to spend her birthday.  After the playing, we took her to Wendy's for lunch.  She LOVES french fries, so we felt like taking her out somewhere where she could get fries.

When K got home from Driver's Ed and C and J home from school, the real party began!

We had the ever delicious meal of quesadillas and carrots for dinner.  Can you tell that the birthday girl was two?  We had to have something she loves.  K wasn't home yet when we ate, but when she did get home, we began with the "party," which really means opening presents.

V loves cookies, but doesn't love cake.  So, I made her a very large cookie to be her cookie-cake.  She loved the cookie, but was scared to death of the candle.  She screamed and cried and I went over to help her blow it out.  Still scared her until the candle made its way to the trash!

Once the candle was gone:  yum, yum!

And finally a Mommy-Birthday Girl selfie.  I am so glad that she is mine.  I love her with all of my heart.  It is hard to believe that she is already two.  What a big girl!  I love that she talks so much.  It is so much fun!  I love hearing her sing, "I Am a Child of God" or "Open, Shut Them."  I am truly blessed.   Happy Birthday, My V!

How adorable! V is the cutest. Happy birthday to her from me! I wish we lived closer so we could see you guys more, it was the best to see you in June! Also... K and drivers ed?! That just sounded almost unnatural and crazy. She's too old!
