Happy 6th Birthday, J!

When I first started blogging, J was three months old.  He has grown so much and he is such a big boy now. I am so proud of him.  I love him very much.  He is so fun to be around-he has a great sense of humor.  He loves school and is a natural leader.  I wasn't sure how he would do in Kindergarten-he became a little crazy over the last six months, but he has really stepped it up!  I love his willingness to help and his great love of his family.  He has also done well with the divorce.  He loves his dad and he loves CK and I.  I am proud of how accepting he is.
Since Grandma K would not be able to see him on his birthday, we had a "fake birthday" a couple days early.  We went out to dinner with Grandma and came home and had cake and he got to open his present from Grandma and Grandpa K.
For his first cake, he wanted a Yoshi cake.  :)
He also loved being lifted up and down by Grandma.  He wanted more and more and more.  I think that Grandma might have sore muscles--J is not light!
When J got home from his dad's on his birthday, we had his requested dinner ready: crepes and bacon.  Yum!
Then it was time to open presents!
He was so excited to get Icebreakers from K.  It is cool that CK captured the moment!

Cake number 2 was an angry birds cake...with the blow up orange angry bird.  :)

C is learning the trumpet this year.  He spent the time to learn notes he had not learned yet, found the "Happy Birthday" song music and practiced and practiced and then played it while we sang to J.
After blowing out the candles.....he stuck them all in his mouth.  Cute kid!

We love you, J!
