First Time for Everything

So....I took the kids out for a first day of school treat. I brought my good friend, J, along with us since it was her first day of school, too (teaching). On the way back, I ended up on a side road that I have rarely driven on, talking to J, and not paying enough attention.

And so...something that has NEVER happened to me happened. I got pulled over. AND, first time being pulled over EVER and I got a ticket. Nope. No warning for me. Straight to a ticket. I deserved it though. I was speeding. I wasn't aware, but I was speeding. I deserved it. Still frustrating.

Oh well, there is absolutely a first time for everything!

You law-breaker, you! Nothing beats the feeling of seeing those red and blue lights flashing in your rear view mirror! Ugh!

That's the worst. I don't think cops around here know the meaning of a warning. I got a ticket when we first moved here about 4 houses down from my own house.

Ha! I wish I could say it was my first time, but you know me better than that! I recommend deferred adjudication or defensive driving online :)

I got my first (and only) ticket on my 30th b-day. It was so sad! I get pulled over all the time but never even get a warning... these pretty brown eyes are good for something! LOL
